Droylsden 1-1 City of Liverpool

A game of few chances came alive in the last fifteen minutes as these two sides gained a point each in a hard fought draw.
Danny Wilkins put Droylsden ahead with thirteen minutes left on the clock, clinically finishing Domaine Rouse’s cross from the right.
But the visitors equalised with four minutes left on the clock, Jamie McDonald striking low in the bottom corner after John McGrath centred.
Both teams battled hard but chances were few and far between, Elliot Nevitt’s effort well saved by Thompson early on why Jack Kay was put through only to poke his effort wide.
Deep into second half injury time, Kay could have won it for Droylsden, Rouse’s cross to the far post somehow evading the striker.
