A Colin Murray goal four minutes before half time saw the Bloods gain a point in a game in which neither club created much to excite the fans.
Kendal took the lead after just ten minutes when an unmarked Bamba headed home from close range.
The Bloods could have equalised minutes later when Rouse and Rigby combined down the left to find Clooney but Bacon saves well in the Kendal goal
Aaron Fleming caused the Bloods problems down the right and got behind the defence force a near post save from Thompson.
Droylsden’s appeals for a penalty were waved away shortly after when Colin Murray appeared to be felled in the box but the midfielder gained his revenge after Clooney broke down the right hand side and Kendal failed to clear, allowing Murray to slam the ball home from eighteen yards.
The second half brought little from either side, Jasskelainen having the best chance for the home team with quarter of a hour left forcing his way past two defenders only for Thompson to save
At the other end Bianga’s shot was parried onto the post by Bacon in what was the Bloods best chance of the half but it will be regarded as a disappointing performance from Dave Pace’s team to leave the lakes with just a point.
