A superb free kick from skipper Domaine Rouse and two penalties from Sefton Gonzales secured three much needed points for the Bloods on their trip to Newcastle under Lyne.
In a game that would be dominated by penalty claims, the home team felt they had one after just nine minutes when Antoine-Clarke brought down Orlando-Young only for the referee to give the foul outside the area.
Four minutes later Droylsden were ahead,Domaine Rouse proving a handful for the Town defence, brought down on the edge of the area, and striking the free kick low into the far corner of Johnson’s net.
Bloods took control of the game with some slick passing play, denying the home team even a sniff of the ball.
Rouse was denied a second after he burst through the centre by a fine save from Johnson and Liam Caddick fired over from close range after Luke Daly crossed from the byline.
Against the run of play, the home tram levelled on the half hour mark,Orlando Young causing problems down the left finding Matt Ward in the box whose shot gave Chris Thompson no chance.
The goal rejuvenated Newcastle and for a ten minute period, mostly through Orlando Young they dominated.
But on the stroke of half time, The Bloods were back in front,Steele adjudged to have pushed Caddick in the box and Sefton Gonzales stepping up to score from the spot.
The second half proved more open, both teams having chances to score,Caddick having the best for the Bloods after Gonzales burst into the box from the left only for the striker to slice his shot onto the back of a defender.
On seventy one minutes,Droylsden doubled their lead, Ollie Ford brought down on the right hand side of the box and Gonzales stepping up for a second time to score from the spot.
Orlando Young has chances to pull a goal back for the home side, one shot inches over Thompson’s cross bar but the Bloods managed the game well in the last fifteen minutes and nearly had a fourth deep into added time when substitute Faustin Makela’s shot forced a finger tip save from Johnson
