Runcorn Linnets 0-4 Droylsden

A Liam Caddick hat trick in the first half saw Droylsden gain a season double over league leaders Runcorn Linnets

Caddick’s treble came in the opening thirty minutes, striking home from close range just four minutes from the start, just a minute after his first attempt had been cleared off the line before adding a second six minutes later, converting from Sefton Gonzales cross.
Caddick made it three on the half hour mark after Gonzales had headed down a Luke Daly free kick to fire home.
The home side battled back just before half time but some resolute defending from the Bloods stifled the threat.
Droylsden could have extended their lead in the second half, the feet of keeper Forth denying Caddick his fourth with the striker clean through on goal and the keeper excelled again from the corner, with a  point blank save from Sam Baird header.
The Bloods got their fourth five minutes from time, a precision strike from Domaine Rouse finding the top corner from the edge of the area
