Droylsden 6-2 Widnes

Five goals in the first half an hour finished the game as a contest as a buoyant Droylsden cruised to victory.

Febian Brandy opened the scoring,the striker fouled on the edge of the area and converting the free kick into the bottom corner after just ten minutes.

Six minutes later,Sefton Gonzales headed home from a Shaun Holden corner to make it two and almost from kick off Brandy got his second, beating two defenders in the box to slot home.

Liam Caddick made it four on twenty eight minutes,after Gonzales had taken the ball from the half way line and charged into the box before laying off the ball.

Two minutes later, Domaine Rouse was given far too much time and space in the box to make it five.

Widnes pulled a goal back just before half time,Antoine-Clarke heading into his own net from a corner and got a second just after half time Hodkinson netting the rebound after Korie-Butler forced a save from Thompson.

The Bloods continued to create chances,Domaine Rouse should have added to his tally after Gonzales crossed only to put his shot wide and Brandy was denied a hat trick by the boot of Nield in the Widnes goal

Droylsden made it six deep into injury time,skipper Michael Brewster dancing through the defence to score a brilliant individual goal
