The Bloods survived a first half onslaught from the home team to snatch three points thanks to a Domaine Rouse header from a corner ten minutes into the second half.
The home team dominated the first forty five minutes of this game breaking quickly down both flanks.
After just think minutes a cross found Ryan Wade who shot over from inside the box, minutes later the centre forward was the provider breaking down the left finding Gibson who was denied by a great save from Chris Thompson
Droylsden struggled to keep the ball as the home team continued to press, Wade having two chances in succession, the first blocked by a defender, the second then screwed wide but the zBloods held out for half time despite seeing two efforts from the byline flying across the face of goal.
Almost from the kick offLinnets should have taken the lead, another cross from the right, finding Gibson who with only Thompson to best shot wide
Droylsden’s first real chance of the game came shortly after half time, a ball over the top finding Jamie Frost whose first time effort was palmed away by Passant in the Linnets goal.
Four minutes later they were ahead, winning a corner, Danny Wilkins perfect delivery found an unmarked Domaine Rouse at the back post whose header gave the keeper little chance.
The goal seemed to upset the shape of the Linnets play and the Bloods defence grew stronger as the game went on, managing to stifle out much of the Linnnets attacking play to claim all three points and take their unbeaten run to five games.
