Two second half goals and a fine display of keeping from Chris Thompson booked Droylsden’s place in the next round of the FA Trophy.
Domaine Rouse finding the back of the net a minute into the second half with Sefton Gonzales converting the rebound after Ingham had saved a Liam Caddick strike to seal the victory with nine minutes left on the clock.
It was a game of two halves, the home team dominating the first forty five minutes kept at bay by the brilliance of Thompson and some last ditch defending.
Casey Stewart forced Thompson into the action after being put through by Davidson and the keeper was called into action soon after when full back Barkworth crossed from the byline and found the head of Savory pushing the ball away for a corner.
The Bloods found themselves on the back foot for much of the half, although a great move just before the half hour mark saw Antoine-Clarke force a great save from Ingham.
Tadcaster looked though the favourites to open the scoring, just before the half hour mark, a mistake at the back let in the dangerous Colley again forcing Thompson to save at close range while both Savory and Whitehouse saw their efforts just wide of the post.
A minute into the second half and Droylsden were ahead, Febian Brandy pushing into the area and forcing a save from Ingham. The Tadcaster defence failed to clear and Domaine Rouse finding the back of the net.
With a seemingly renewed energy, the Bloods began to dominate, Gonzales and Daly both creating chances but a momentary loss of concentration nearly let the home side back in with Thompson again saving from close range from Colley.
Thompson was once again called into action pushing a Whitehouse shot around the post for a corner.
At the other end with gaps appearing at the back,a Phil Marsh through ball set up Sefton Gonzales who turned a defender only to shoot over, and substitute Liam Caddick’s header produced a fine save from Ingham.
The Bloods though sealed the victory with just under ten minutes remaining, Caddick breaking down the left, his shot saved by Ingham only for Gonzales to convert the rebound and confirm the trip to Pickering in the next round
